Pilates & Movement Therapy
Full body strength and mobility are essential for your pelvic health and overall wellness. Pilates and therapeutic exercise are great tools for maintaining pelvic health, managing symptoms, and building strength and endurance to return to the activities that you enjoy. Pilates is an choice method of cross training for runners, bikers, dancers, climbers, and athletes as it engages core muscle groups for improved stability and strengthens muscles through their full range of motion for greater mobility.
I work with folks to develop a fitness program tailored specifically to their bodies’ needs and progress it based on their individual goals. Movement therapy sessions may include elements of Pilates, therapeutic exercise, somatic movement, dance, and yoga. Certified through Peak Pilates, I have over a decade of experience teaching group, duet, and private Pilates sessions on mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair. Through my decades long dance education, I have studied many movement modalities and draw on these influences to create a unique fitness experience for each individual.
