Sexuality Counseling
What is Sexuality Counseling?
Sexuality counseling is a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your sexual wellbeing, navigate challenges, and connect more fully with yourself and others.
At All Pelvic Health, sexuality counseling bridges the gap between physical health and emotional intimacy. Whether you're experiencing pain with intimacy, struggling with low desire, healing from trauma, or simply feeling disconnected from your body—this work is about helping you feel empowered, informed, and seen.
You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from sexuality counseling. Maybe you're:
Reconnecting with your body after experiencing pelvic pain or sexual difficulties
Navigating changes after childbirth, surgery, or menopause
Feeling anxious, ashamed, or stuck when it comes to sex
Exploring your identity, orientation, or desires
Hoping to improve communication, connection, and intimacy in your relationships
Looking to feel more pleasure and presence in your body
No matter where you're starting, this is a space for honest conversation, personalized support, and holistic care. I honor all ages, genders, gender expressions, orientations, relationship styles, cultures, and lived experiences. Your story is celebrated here.
My Experience and Approach
Hi, I’m Errin Delperdang, a sex counselor and pelvic health therapist dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies, deepen their intimacy, and experience pleasure without shame.
With years of experience supporting clients through pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, post-surgical changes, and postpartum recovery, I’ve seen how physical health, emotional wellbeing, and sexual identity are deeply intertwined. I support clients through the full spectrum of pelvic and sexual health—whether that means addressing pain, exploring pleasure, navigating intimacy, or reclaiming connection after trauma or life transitions. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and grounded in both science and empathy. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can talk openly about their body and sexuality without shame.
I completed advanced training in sexual health and hold a Certificate in Sexuality Counseling and Education from the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Program. I’m also an active member of the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). In addition to counseling, I am an educator and have presented on sexual health-related topics at Texas State University, Cancer Rehab and Integrative Medicine, and Dell Seton Grand Rounds.
Sex Counseling FAQs
-
While there’s a lot of overlap, sexuality counseling tends to be shorter-term, goal-oriented support focused on education, exploration, and guidance around sexual concerns. It’s not psychotherapy, but is very useful for individuals and couples looking specifically to better understand and improve their sexual health and relationships. If deeper psychological or trauma work is needed, I’ll refer you to a trusted therapist who meets your needs or collaborate as part of your care team.

They can be similar in some ways, but as a licensed pelvic floor physical therapist with advanced training in sexual health, my approach is grounded in medical knowledge, trauma-informed care, and somatic (body-based) healing. My approach to counseling and education is both evidence-based and deeply personal.
